This is a great opportunity to join UBM Conference division. The Conference Organiser will play an integral role in the conference department by organising all the logistics for their allocated events.
The successful candidate will have exceptional organisational skills, be able to multi-task and cope very well under pressure. This very busy and varied role will suit a team player who can communicate across all levels and manage their workload in order to meet deadlines. They will need to be responsible for the planning and organisation of all logistical aspects of the conference including:
• On-site delivery and management
• Speaker management & liaison
• Sponsor management & liaison
• Venue liaison
• Creation of conference documentation
• Management of suppliers
• Cost reconciliation & budget management
• Strong negotiation skills
• Customer service
• Booking of accommodation and travel
• Liaison with cross functional team: production, marketing, sponsorship and customer service

Essential requirements
• Conference organisation experience to a high level
• Financial admin experience (processing invoices/payments & dealing with a finance team)
• Excellent verbal & written communication
• Intermediate excel/word/powerpoint/outlook/acrobat & internet explorer
• Ability to multi-task between different events
