| Claire completed her BA in English Literature from Exeter University in 2005 and went on to do a PG Dip in Magazine Journalism at London's City University. She joined CMPi's graduate scheme having already had some work experience on DVD Monthly, Building and Music Week as well as having worked as a freelance for The Guardian and the London Paper. |
On her experience as a graduate trainee for CMPi Claire says: “I’ve been able to really get my hands dirty whilst on my placements, from reporting on after hours smoking lock-ins in a remote countryside pub for The Publican, to visiting Vietnam and South Korea for TTG.
"Working on weekly titles with the opportunity to write both news and features has really sharpened my writing and research skills, and the support provided by mentors and training sessions has been invaluable.
"CMPi has given me the chance to learn about the job by doing it. As a graduate trainee you are treated as a full member of the team.”
