| Like Claire and Georgie, Olivia also completed a PG dip in Magazine Journalism at London's City University after completing a degree in Chinese Studies at Oxford University. She came to CMPi with some solid work experience on a range of titles including The Guardian, The Sunday Times, The Big Issue and Retail Week and having spent one year at the think tank Politeia. |
She says: "When I said I wanted to be a journalist, everyone told me to be prepared to do a lot of photocopying before I got anywhere. So it was a pleasant surprise to find myself rushed off my feet at CMPi in my very first job.
"I was taken seriously as a journalist from day one and quickly changed from a nervous trainee to a confident reporter. I now have a portfolio to be proud of and a passion for weekly news."
