 | As Digital Development Director Paul Way sets digital strategy for the company’s growing list of online properties, which includes more than 100 Web sites that span the organization’s print and exhibition businesses, as well as key stand-alone initiatives like SearchMedica and Travel Turtle. Paul works with all divisions to identify and leverage critical opportunities to build content, community and commerce. |
Paul’s background includes significant experience with new media development. He joined CMPi in January 2007, following 11 years at CMPi’s US-based sister company, CMP Technology, where he had most recently served as General Manager of Streaming Media for the company. Whilst there he oversaw the development of one of the organization’s fast-growing businesses, producing more than 500 webinars annually and launching some of the company’s pioneering efforts in B2B streaming video.
In prior positions, Paul oversaw a network of vertical market sites for CMP; redesigning them and developing new products, which included some of the company’s early entries into streaming media.
Paul began his career as a journalist, joining CMP in 1996 as a Managing Editor and later becoming Editor-in-Chief of Insurance & Technology magazine. He joined CMP after working several years as Group Editor for a targeted group of business newsweeklies in the American retail sector.
